You
Our company is seeking to hire a skilled flight dynamist to help with the development of our product. Your duties will primarily revolve around developing solutions for orbit determination and propagation and developing manoeuvring strategies for collision avoidance considering mission requirements. You will also be involved in system testing and validation procedures, and also working with customers or departments on technical issues including software system design and maintenance.

Flight Dynamics
Develop solutions to technical problems in cooperation with customers and other specialists.
Developing, adapting-, and maintaining generic and product-specific software elements.
Software development for orbit propagation, determination of manoeuvring options responding to mission requirements.
Coordinate and interact with service providers in operations and other fields.
Gathering and managing requirements for Flight Dynamics support to projects.
Gathering and managing software requirements.
Space Traffic and Space Debris
Profound expertise of space debris matters (observation, modelling, mitigation, risk assessment).
Analysis of space surveillance techniques and principles and development of requirements for product development.
Development and implementation of collision avoidance strategies and options
Understanding of the way of working various debris committees, such as UN COPUOS and the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee (IADC) and support to the development of recommendations to these committees.
Customers
Consulting with departments or customers on project status and proposals.
Working with customers or departments on technical issues.
Training users.
Team
Consulting with software engineering staff to support the evaluation of software interfaces and develop specifications and performance requirements.
Contribute to an open constructive and lively working atmosphere.
Aspiration to take operational responsibility in multi-discipline teams.
